【摘要】:Thesetestmethodscanbeusedforresearchorforqualitycontroltodeterminethetotalchlorinecontentofaromaticisocyanates.Insomeinstancestotalchlorinecontentmaycorrelatewithperformanceinpolyurethanesystems.1.1Thesetestmethodsdeterminethetotalchlorinecontentofaromaticisocyanatesusedaspolyurethanerawmaterials.Thedifferencebetweenthetotalchlorinecontentandthehydrolyzablechlorinecontent(seeTestMethodD4663)isameasureoftheamountofo-dichlorobenzeneandotherring-substitutedchlorinatedproductsthatarepresent.Bothproceduresareapplicabletoavarietyoforganiccompoundsbuttheamountofsampleusedmayhavetobevaried.(SeeNote1.)1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninbracketsareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThereisnoequivalentISOstandard.
