【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsareusedtomeasurethedimensionsoftherodortubetodetermineconformancewithspecificationsonfulllengthsorcutlengths.Themeasurementscanalsobeusedformanufacturingcontrol,determinationofuniformity,dimensionalstability,andphysicalandelectricalpropertiesoftherodsandtubes.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthemeasurementofthedimensionsofallrigidrodsandtubesusedaselectricalinsulation,thelimitationsimposedbeingthoseofthesizerangeofthemorecommonformsofmeasuringinstrumentsused.1.2Wherethenumberofteststobemadeorthespecificationscoveringtherodortubejustifyitsuse,anaccuratelycalibrated"go-and-no-go"ringgageofsuitablesizemaybeused.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
