【摘要】:Thistestmethodissuitableforestablishingspecificationsofproductleakageforboththepumpdispenserandthefinalpackage.Thetestisperformedattwolevelsofvacuum,alowandahighlevel,inordertoavoidgoingdirectlyfromatmosphericpressureto200mbar,whichcansometimescausepumpcomponentsthathadnotbeenfullyseated,toseat.MethodA,ProductLeakageTestwithoutVibrationTestingofaMechanicalPumpDispenserPackage,isusedwhenapre-conditioningofthepackageinasimulatedshippingsituationisnotdesired.MethodB,ProductLeakageTestwithVibrationTestingofaMechanicalPumpDispenserPackage,isusedwhenapre-conditioningofthepackageinasimulatedshippingsituationisdesired.Thedynamicsandstressesofshippingcancreateconditionswherethepackagemaybemorelikelytoleak.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheevaluationoftheabilityofapumpdispensertosealwhenthepackagingisheldundervacuum.Furthermore,itevaluatesthesealbetweenthepumpdispenserandtheneckcontainer/closureintegrity.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoinch-poundunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.See4.3foraspecificwarningstatement.
